My husband and I were blessed to attend a college best friend reunion in Sequim, Washington on the Olympic Peninsula. It was a blast, to say the least. Everything from glacier lake swimming to trying lavender ice cream, and of course everything is better when in the company of wonderful people. I look forward to sharing some travel photos with you guys soon.
The irony of the trip was that 4 of us were pregnant, and all at different stages. Jessica is the closest to her due date, and was at the perfect stage for maternity photos while we were there. While visiting Purple Haze Lavender Farm, the setting was perfect to do an impromptu mini session, and I'm so glad we did!
Fun Fact: Sequim is the "Lavender Capital of North America". Even the high school colors are purple!

And of course, silly families must have silly photos!

These beautiful people were willing to get all dolled up for me after their wedding and hike around Manito Park in Spokane WA to get these formal photos. I was so excited to check out this amazing garden space and discover all the best greenery and landscaping for their photos.
I love getting to do formal photos of the Bride and Groom before or after the wedding. They're much more relaxed and don't have as rigorous time constraints as if we were trying to get all their photos done and make it to the reception on time as well. It's an opportunity for the Bride and Groom to just bask in their love for each other and cherish the special time they have to themselves.
